10th Assembly of Petrology and Geochemistry
This year the jubilee, 10th Assembly of Petrology and Geochemistry was held on 5-7 September 2019 at the Resort of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in Mátraháza (H-3233 Mátraháza, Külterület), organized by the MTA-ELTE Volcanology Research Group.
Oral and poster presentations were presented on the first two days of the conference as well as the invited and plenary lectures, whereas on the last day field excursions were organized in smaller groups focusing on different aspects of the Mátra Mts.
This conference is annually organized by different groups or institutes of our community and is the annual official meeting of the Geochemistry, Mineralogy and Petrology Committee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (https://mta.hu/english/scientific-sections-105963#10) and also of the Mineralogy and Geochemistry Section of the Hungarian Geological Society (Magyarhoni Földtani Társulat; https://foldtan.hu/en).
